EveAI Terms of Service
Draft prepared for review by a Lebanese lawyer. This text is not legal advice and is not yet final. Words in [SQUARE BRACKETS] are still to be filled in or confirmed.
Version: 2026-10-21
These Terms are the agreement between you and EveAI. They cover the EveAI website at eveai.cloud, the EveAI Academy (courses, lessons, workshops and certificates), the EveAI Apps, Ask Eve, and anything you buy from us. Together with the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy, they are the whole agreement. Please read them before you create an account or use an app.
1. Who we are
1.1. EveAI is operated from Beirut, Lebanon by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME, or "Aref Hammadi, trading as EveAI"], [LEGAL FORM], registered at the Commercial Registry of [PLACE] under no. [REGISTRATION NO.], tax (financial) no. [TAX NO.] ("EveAI", "we", "us").
1.2. Address: [BUSINESS ADDRESS, BEIRUT, LEBANON]. Email: [CONTACT EMAIL]. WhatsApp and phone: +961 78 996 408. Website: https://eveai.cloud.
1.3. EveAI will never ask you for a password, a sign-in code or a payment card number on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. Anyone who does is not us.
2. How this agreement is made
2.1. How you agree. You agree to these Terms by ticking the box that says you have read and accept them, when you create an account, and again before your first use of the Apps or Ask Eve if you have not yet accepted this version. The box is never ticked for you. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Apps.
2.2. Before you agree you can read these Terms in full, save them, print them and correct anything you entered. The agreement is made when we receive your acceptance. We confirm it on screen and, where we have your email, by email.
2.3. What we keep. We record which version you accepted, when, and from which account. We keep that record for as long as your account exists and afterwards for as long as we may need it to prove the agreement [PERIOD]. You can ask us for a copy at any time. Every version of these Terms stays available on eveai.cloud/terms.
2.4. Language. These Terms are offered in English and [Arabic, once the Arabic version is approved]. By accepting the English version, you agree to contract in English. If the two versions differ, [the Arabic version prevails for users in Lebanon and the English version for everyone else].
2.5. Electronic form. You agree that your electronic acceptance, our electronic records and notices we send to your account or email have the same effect as a signed paper document.
3. Who can use EveAI
3.1. Age. You must be at least 16 to create an account. You must be at least 18 to buy anything, to use the Apps, or to use Ask Eve. If you are 16 or 17, you may use the free parts of the Academy with the agreement of a parent or guardian, who also accepts these Terms on your behalf.
3.2. The Playground and the in-browser tools that send nothing to us can be used without an account.
3.3. Organisations. If you use EveAI for a business, school or other organisation, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for it. Schools, workshops, team seats and made-to-order products (such as Deskbot) may also have a written order with its own terms. If an order and these Terms differ, the order prevails for that purchase.
3.4. Sanctions and local law. You may not use EveAI where the law that applies to you forbids it.
4. Your account
4.1. Give true details and keep them up to date. One account is for one person. Do not share your account, your sign-in links or your codes.
4.2. You are responsible for what is done through your account unless it was done by someone who got in without your fault. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. Two-step sign-in is available, and we recommend it.
4.3. You can close your account at any time by asking us (section 16.1).
5. What EveAI offers
5.1. The Academy. Courses, lessons, quizzes, exercises, review, notes, workshops and certificates. Some are free; others are sold one by one or come with a plan.
5.2. The Apps. Tools that help you write, check claims, plan, make and edit pictures and videos, convert files and run your channels. Each app's page says what it does, how it runs, what it keeps and what it costs. Some run entirely in your browser and send nothing to us. Others send what you give them to EveAI's servers and to the AI providers we work with, as the Privacy Policy explains.
5.3. Ask Eve. An AI tutor beside the lessons, for members of a paid plan when it is open to them.
5.4. Stages. Some apps are marked as early, in testing, on a waiting list or made to order. Early features may change, be limited, pause or end. We tell you before an app you have paid for ends (section 15).
6. Plans, credits and packs
6.1. Prepaid, never automatic. The EveAI Pass and the other plans are paid in advance for a fixed period (for example 1, 3 or 12 months) and end on the date shown in your account. Nothing renews by itself and we never charge you again without a new payment from you.
6.2. What a plan includes. Each plan includes access to the Apps and Ask Eve within the allowances shown on the pricing page and on each app at the time you buy, for example a number of runs a day, web checks a month and image credits a month. The button tells you how many credits a run will use before you start it.
6.3. Fair use. To keep the service affordable for everyone, each plan also has a fair-use limit on AI processing. If you reach it, the writing apps and Ask Eve may switch to a lighter engine, and may then pause until your next monthly reset. Lessons, the Playground, the browser tools and everything you have already made stay available. We tell you when this happens.
6.4. Packs. You can buy packs (for example more web checks, image credits or a bulletin). A pack lasts 12 months from purchase unless its page says otherwise. Pack credits are used after your plan's monthly allowance.
6.5. Expiry and roll-over. Unused monthly web checks roll over for one month. Other monthly allowances do not roll over. We remind you at least 7 days before pack credits expire. Nothing expires while your plan is paused at your request under section 7.6.
6.6. Failed runs are free. If a run fails, is cut off, or is declined by our safety rules, it does not use your credits or allowance. If credits were held for it, they are released automatically.
6.7. No cash value. Credits, allowances and packs are not money. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, sold or moved to another account, except as section 7 allows.
6.8. Prices. Prices are shown in full, in US dollars [and include / do not include VAT], before you pay. We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a period or pack you have already paid for.
7. Payment and refunds
7.1. How you pay. Until payment is available in the site, you arrange a purchase by writing to us on WhatsApp. You pay by Whish Money, OMT, bank transfer or cash, as we agree with you. Access starts when a person at EveAI has confirmed the payment. We give you a receipt [invoice].
7.2. The law's 10-day withdrawal right. If you buy at a distance (on WhatsApp, by phone or online), you may withdraw from the purchase within 10 days of buying a service, and get a full refund, provided you have not yet used it (no run, credit, check or lesson of what you bought). This is your right under the Lebanese Consumer Protection Law; nothing in these Terms reduces it.
7.3. Pass and packs. You get a full refund if you ask within [10] days of paying and nothing from that Pass or pack has been used. After that, or once something has been used, a Pass or pack is not refunded, but you can ask to pause a Pass under section 7.6.
7.4. Course guarantee. For a course, you can take the first module, and if within 7 days of paying you decide the course is not for you, tell us and you get the full amount back, even if you have started it. If you have not started it, you can also use the 10-day right in section 7.2.
7.5. How refunds are paid. We return the money by the method you paid with, or another method we agree, within [14] days of accepting the request. What the refund paid for ends at once. Your own notes, progress and work stay in your account. A certificate earned through a refunded course may be withdrawn (section 8.4).
7.6. Pausing a Pass. [You can ask us to pause a Pass once per period, for up to [X] months. While it is paused, its end date moves forward and nothing expires.]
7.7. When we are at fault. If a paid service does not work as described and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, or if we end a paid service or your account without fault on your part, we refund the unused part of what you paid, in proportion to the time or credits left.
7.8. Payment providers (such as Whish or OMT) have their own terms and may charge their own fees. A refund returns what we received, unless the law requires otherwise.
8. The Academy
8.1. Your licence to learn. When you have access to a course, you may view it and use its materials for your own learning. You may not copy, record, resell, share your access or publish course materials, unless a page says you may.
8.2. Access. Free courses and lessons can be withdrawn or changed. Courses you have bought stay available to you for the access period stated when you bought them [or "for the life of the course on EveAI"]. If we ever retire a course you bought, we give you at least 60 days' notice and a way to keep your notes and certificates.
8.3. Your answers. Your notes, reflections, quiz answers and exercise submissions are yours. Instructors and EveAI staff may read submissions to grade them and to give feedback.
8.4. Certificates. A certificate shows what you completed on EveAI, and it can be verified by its public link. A certificate does not give a professional qualification or licence unless it clearly says so. We may revoke a certificate if it was issued in error, if the requirements were not met, for academic dishonesty, if the course was refunded, or if you ask us to. A revoked certificate's page says that it was revoked, when, and the general reason.
8.5. Workshops and schools. Live workshops, school programmes and policy packs follow the description and dates in their order. Schools and organisations may adapt our materials for their own internal use if their order says so.
9. Your content
9.1. What is yours stays yours. "Your content" means everything you put into EveAI: text, prompts, links, photos, files, voice notes, business details, and what you add to the Academy. You keep all your rights in it.
9.2. The licence you give us. You give EveAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit, adapt (for example resize or convert) and display your content, only to provide the service to you: to run the apps you ask for, to show you your results and history, to keep it secure, to back it up, and to comply with the law. This includes sending it to the AI providers that process it for us (see the Privacy Policy). The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies in backups for the limited time the Privacy Policy states, and except where we must keep something by law.
9.3. No training. No marketing. We do not use your content or your results to train AI models, and we choose AI providers and settings that, by their terms, do not train on it. We do not sell your content. We do not show your content or results as examples or in marketing unless you give separate, explicit permission, which you can withdraw.
9.4. Your promises about your content. You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, that it does not break the law or anyone's rights, and that, for every identifiable person in a photo, video or voice recording you upload, you have that person's permission for what you ask the app to do (section 12).
9.5. Private by default. Your library and your runs are private to your account. Nobody else can see them unless you share them, for example by sending a link or publishing your portfolio.
10. What the AI makes for you (outputs)
10.1. Ownership. As between you and EveAI, you own the outputs the Apps make for you. To the extent we have any rights in your outputs, we assign them to you. This does not cover our software, our templates and examples, or material from others that an output includes (for example a free-licence image in a bulletin), which stay under their own licences.
10.2. No guarantee of protection or uniqueness. The law may not protect AI-generated material as an original work, because copyright protects works made by human authors. We do not promise that an output can be registered or protected, or that it is unique: other people may receive similar outputs.
10.3. Your responsibility. You decide whether and how to use an output. Before you publish, send or rely on it, check it: facts, names, numbers, spelling, other people's rights, brands, and the rules of the platform you post on. You are responsible for what you publish.
10.4. "Made with AI". Some apps add a visible "Made with AI" mark or end card, on by default, and the AI providers may add invisible marks. Where the law or the platform you use requires you to say that content is AI-generated (for example for realistic images, video or audio of people or events), you must say so, and you must not remove or hide marks in order to mislead anyone.
11. Limits of AI, and no professional advice
11.1. AI can be wrong, out of date, biased or incomplete, even when it sounds sure. Results may differ each time.
11.2. Check It shows sources and a verdict to help you think. It is not a court, a fact-checking authority, or legal, medical, financial or religious advice. It may say "cannot tell". Newsroom briefs link to their sources; read them. Strategy Lab, Post Partner, Voice Twin, Brand Desk and Ask Eve give drafts and ideas, not professional advice.
11.3. Nothing EveAI produces is legal, medical, financial, tax, psychological or other professional advice. For decisions in those areas, ask a qualified professional.
11.4. Do not use EveAI for decisions that have legal or similarly serious effects on other people (for example hiring, grading as the only basis, credit or housing) without a qualified person reviewing each decision.
12. People in your pictures, videos and voice
12.1. Before you upload or edit a photo, video or voice of a real, identifiable person, you must have that person's permission for that use. If an app asks you to confirm this (for example "I have this person's permission"), your confirmation must be true.
12.2. Children. You may not upload a child's face or body for editing, or make a talking or moving photo of a child, even with a parent's permission.
12.3. You may not make content that shows a real person doing or saying something they did not do or say, in a way that could mislead, or that harms their dignity or reputation.
12.4. You are responsible to the people you picture. If someone complains to us about content of them, we may remove it from our service and ask you for proof of permission.
13. Acceptable use
13.1. You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. It is part of these Terms.
13.2. Our systems may decline a request that looks against these rules. A declined run costs nothing. A person at EveAI may review content that has been flagged, reported or declined, only as far as needed to keep the service safe and to answer reports.
14. EveAI's rights
14.1. EveAI, its software, apps, designs, courses, lessons, scripts, videos, interactives, the Zeinai character, the EveAI and Zeinai names and logos, and our examples belong to EveAI or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms give you only the rights they state.
14.2. You may not copy, sell, rent or re-host our software or courses, extract our prompts or methods to build a competing product, or use our names, logos or the Zeinai character to suggest that we endorse you, without our written permission.
14.3. Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely without paying you. This does not give us any right to your content.
15. Availability and changes to the service
15.1. We work to keep EveAI available and your work safe, but we do not promise that it will always be available, fast or free of errors. We may pause it for maintenance or safety, and outside events (such as power, network or provider outages) may interrupt it.
15.2. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change removes something important from a plan or pack you have already paid for, we tell you in advance where we can, and you may ask for a refund of the unused part (section 7.7).
15.3. Keep your own copies of anything important. The Apps let you download your results.
16. Ending the agreement
16.1. You can stop using EveAI and ask us to close your account at any time. Closing your account ends any plan; unused prepaid time is refunded only as section 7 says.
16.2. We may suspend or close an account, remove content, or refuse a request, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if the law requires it, or to protect people or the service. For serious breaches (for example content involving children, non-consensual intimate or sexual content, impersonation, fraud, or attacks on the service) we may act at once and without notice. Otherwise, we tell you the reason and, where possible, give you a chance to fix it first.
16.3. We may also end the agreement without any fault on your part, by giving you at least 30 days' notice, and we then refund the unused part of what you paid.
16.4. After closing, we delete or anonymise your data as the Privacy Policy says. Before you close your account, you can download your results. Sections 9.3, 10, 14, 17, 18, 19 and 20 continue after the agreement ends.
17. Disclaimers
17.1. Apart from what these Terms and the law expressly guarantee, EveAI is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that outputs will be accurate, suitable for your purpose, or free of others' rights.
17.2. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any right you have under the law that cannot be removed or limited by a contract, including your rights as a consumer and your rights over your personal data.
18. Liability
18.1. What we never limit. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud or deliberate wrongdoing, for gross fault, for death or personal injury caused by our fault, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
18.2. The cap. Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims connected with EveAI is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim and (b) USD 50.
18.3. What we are not responsible for. Except under section 18.1, we are not responsible for: losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these Terms; loss of profits, business or opportunity; how you use outputs or what happens after you publish them; content or services of third parties (such as social platforms, payment providers or websites a result links to); or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
19. Your responsibility to us
19.1. If someone makes a claim against EveAI because of content you uploaded or published, or because you broke these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, you will compensate EveAI for the reasonable, proven losses and costs that result, in proportion to your part in them. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in the defence.
20. Law and disputes
20.1. These Terms are governed by the law of Lebanon.
20.2. Please tell us first about any problem: most can be solved quickly by a person on WhatsApp or by email. We answer within [7] days.
20.3. If we cannot agree, the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction.
20.4. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section stops you from using the mediation and the Consumer Dispute Resolution Committee set up under the Lebanese Consumer Protection Law, or from going to the court the law allows you to use. If you live outside Lebanon, you also keep any protection of the law of your country that cannot be excluded by contract.
21. Changes to these Terms
21.1. We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the service, the law or how we work. Each version has a date (the version string at the top) and stays available.
21.2. For a change that matters to you, we tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email or a notice in your account. A change that affects what you have already paid for applies to it only if it is in your favour or required by law.
21.3. You will be asked to accept the new version before your next use of the Apps or Ask Eve. If you do not accept it, you can keep using the parts that do not require acceptance until the end of your current period, or close your account and receive a refund of unused prepaid time and unused packs.
21.4. Small corrections that do not change anyone's rights (such as typing errors or contact details) may take effect at once.
22. General
22.1. If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
22.2. If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.
22.3. You may not transfer your account or this agreement to someone else without our agreement. We may transfer it to a business that takes over EveAI, if your rights are not reduced, and we will tell you.
22.4. Notices to you go to your account or email. Notices to us go to [CONTACT EMAIL] or WhatsApp +961 78 996 408.
23. Contact
Questions about these Terms: [CONTACT EMAIL] or WhatsApp +961 78 996 408. A person answers.
